Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim says he is keen to get his side back up and challenge for the Premier League title again.

The Portuguese was quizzed on the topic ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby clash with defending champions Manchester City.
Media reports in February เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา indicated that club executives had unveiled a plan dubbed “Mission 21”, which aimed to help the club win its 21st league title by 2028.
But Amorim is hoping to build on that success before then and hopes to see significant improvements by next season, which begins in four months.
“I understand, but I’m not naive,” he said at a press conference. “l don’t want to think that it will take us years to compete. I can’t think that way. I can’t handle it. It’s not in me. That’s why I put pressure on myself.”
“I know we’re not going to be the biggest challengers in the next year or two. We’re changing things at the club and we know it’s going to take a long time, but I wouldn’t say it’s going to take years.”
“Next year is our goal. I’m not saying we’re going to win the championship next year. I’m not crazy.”
“I don’t want to talk about this anymore because it takes years and please be patient. No, we are in a hurry. We are struggling so much to make next year much better.”
“I don’t want to be the guy who says we need more time. I won’t be that coach.”
“The whole team is at a point where we have to catch up with them and they will improve next season. I want to focus on our strengths and then use our club to try to bring in one or two key players.
“I can’t say that in the next three years we still have to try to do something. For me, we start next season, we have to be much better because this is a big club and I want to put pressure on everyone here.”
