Carlo Ancelotti confirms Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe are both unavailable for Wednesday’s trip to Leganes.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that both Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham suffered bruises in the 1-0 defeat at Espanyol and will not be involved in Wednesday’s Copa del Rey quarter-final clash at Leganes, Ufabet reported on Tuesday.

Mbappe has a knee injury after a tough เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง challenge from Carlos Romero, while Bellingham is suffering a bruise and Vinicius Junior trained separately on Tuesday but the Brazilian forward is available for tomorrow’s game.

‘Bellingham has a bruise after the injury. He will not be available tomorrow. Vinicius needs a little bit of recovery time but he can play tomorrow,’ Ancelotti said.

Before talking about Mbappe, he said: ‘Mbappe started training normally again today. He had a bruise on his knee. We gave him a little time to recover, but he won’t be able to play tomorrow.’

Ancelotti also spoke about Leganes, who have beaten Atletico Madrid and Barcelona with set-pieces, saying: ‘The absence of Rudiger is very important, not just from set-pieces. Leganes is a very good defensive team, they did a great job against Barca and Atletico, defending very well in those games. This morning we trained the ball to be ready for them.’

Real Madrid will be without both Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba after they sustained injuries in the last few days too. Both were hamstring injuries with similar recovery times of two to three weeks, but it leaves Ancelotti rather short of options in defence for a crucial run of games. Given both Mbappe and Bellingham were bruising injuries, it seems likely they will back for the Madrid derby on Saturday night.
