Brendan Rodgers admits January transfer window has not been good for Celtic but does not blame anyone ahead of club’s review.

Celtic are now left with just Adam Idah as the sole senior centre-forward on the books with 21-year-old Johnny Kenny, who recently return from a loan spell with Shamrock Rovers, as back-up. Daizen Maeda can also play through the middle, although he is suspend for the first leg of the Champions League play-off against Bayern Munich next week.

Speaking ahead of the rearranged Premiership game against Dundee at Parkhead on Wednesday night, where Schlupp should be available. Rodgers assessed the transfer window and insisted he will not allow any disappointment to taint his overall joy at being manager in what promises to be another hugely successful season.

Scottish Premiership leaders signed Jeffrey Schlupp from Crystal Palace on deadline day. And brought back winger Jota from Rennes, while striker Kyoko Furuhashi switched sides.

“I said we needed another striker so ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี we’re not going to hide anything,” Rodgers said.

“And of course, the fans will look and see that a top striker is gone, a legendary striker.”

“So I understand that, but all I can do is impact what we have now and try to teach. And work as hard as I can and finish the job. So far, it’s been a great season for us.”

“I don’t want to blame anyone here,” Rodgers added.

“I think overall it’s not what we thought it would be like. As a club we have to go and look at this like we do in every market.”

“I won’t get frustrate and ruin the joy of working here by thinking about what could happen.”
