Erik ten Hag has provided an update on the injuries of Rasmus Hojlund and Leni Yoro. Two “Red Devils” players who were forced off before the end of the first half due to injuries. In a friendly
match against Arsenal in Los Angeles, the Red Devils fans were the first to cheer. When Hojlund scored the opening goal in the 10th minute. The new number 9 striker showed good form and looked like a killer, making the fans happy.
But then 6 minutes later, the fans were again worried. About the curse of the number 9 shirt after seeing Hojlund sitting on the pitch holding his thigh before being unable to continue playing and being substituted off the field. The
game entered the 35th minute during the cooling break. The “Red Devils” fans began to smile after the image of Leni Yoro. Who looked unwell and became another player who had to be substituted off with an injury.
After the game, Ten Hag gave an interview giving an update on the situation of both players. And believed that both of them were not seriously injured.
“Of course, it is too early to know about their injuries. “And we have to wait another 24 hours and then hopefully we will know more about their condition,” he said.
“We have to be careful, especially with Leni, because he only trained at 50 per cent. He has to play, but we have to be positive and see what happens.”
Recurring injury nightmare for United
If Manchester United were hoping the injury nightmare of last season was a thing of the past. They took a depressing step backwards in a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium.
Rasmus Hojlund and new £59million signing Leny Yoro both limped off before half-time to hand manager Erik ten Hag a painful double blow.
Hojlund went down with what appeared to be a hamstring injury five minutes after firing United in front, and walked gingerly around the perimeter of the pitch towards the dressing-room following treatment.
Yoro also seemed to know instantly that something was seriously wrong when he went down on his haunches just after the half hour mark. The young Frenchman, who completed his move from Lille just in time to come out on tour, wasn’t taking any risks either and went straight off.
