Carlo Ancelotti has been left with a looming problem after the unexpected injuries to Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has explained why the club are not making any new signings, particularly at centre-back, despite the injury to Antonio Rudiger in addition to Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal, as it was an “unforeseen” incident.
Real Madrid have a busy schedule over the next เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย two to three weeks but the Los Blancos face an additional defensive crisis as Rudiger is set to be out for around 20 days with a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat at Espanyol, while David Alaba withdrew from training on Tuesday with a similar hamstring problem.
When asked why Real Madrid had made no moves in the transfer market that closed on Monday, despite the team suffering from multiple injuries,
‘It’s unfortunate that we lost two players in the last two days. Obviously we didn’t plan for these two injuries, it’s an emergency situation that we will do our best to deal with. We didn’t plan for Rudiger’s injury, we have players who can replace him. Jakobo came back from a long injury and can help,’ Ancelotti said.
The Italian coach is also ready to help young defenders Raul Asensio and Jacobo Ramon step up to the plate at the moment.
‘What we have to do is deal with emergencies. We lost two players and we had emergencies. The young players had a chance to show their quality. We showed trust in Asensio against Osasuna and we showed trust in Jacobo.’
Asked if Federico Valverde, who had previously played as a right-back, had the opportunity to play as a centre-back, Ancelotti made it clear that there was no such idea.
‘Valverde will not play as a centre-back. He may play at right-back in some games, but not as a centre-back. We have Jacobo, we have Asensio, we have Chuameni, who we can play as a centre-back.’
However, Ancelotti has come under heavy criticism for his use of Aurelien Chuameni at centre-back in recent months. With many suggesting Asensio deserves a chance over the French midfielder.
Asked how he felt about Tchouameni being preferred to centre-back. The Italian replied: ‘At a defensive level he is very good, he positions himself well, he has good tactical knowledge. The fact that he is the main man in defence helps a lot. Maybe he plays well there or maybe he doesn’t. ‘
‘But he’s been doing his job all along. I don’t remember any major mistakes that put us at a disadvantage. But considering he played in that position so often last season, I don’t remember anything.’
